OpenIntro - openintro.org
Chris Barr and I began the OpenIntro project in early 2009. The initial goal of the project was to write a free and open source introductory statistics book that was of high enough quality to compete with for-profit texts. Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel (co-author), Meenal Patel, Andrew Bray, and others have since joined the project. The OpenIntro Statistics textbook was born in July 2010 and undergoes regular development and releases. It has been used at Harvard, Princeton, Duke, USC, and many other colleges.
The project has expanded to include supplements, including free online course management software on the project website and other tools.
